Rural Electrification Corporation recruitment of retired Electrical Engineers

Rural Electrical Corporation Limited (REC) & Central Institute for Rural Electrification (CIRE), which is a Government of India enterprise, is recruiting recently retired electrical engineers for positions of Training Coordinators / Consultants on annual contract basis to implement the National Training Program for C&D category employees and electricity distribution franchisees in power distribution companies. Candidates may need to travel across India at short notice.

Location: CIRE, Hyderabad / REC Corporate Office, New Delhi

Eligibility Requirements
1. Educational Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering

2. Experience: At least 5 years working experience in a senior position equivalent to Superintending Engineer/Chief Engineer and above in State Utilities or Deputy General Manager/General Manager and above in Schedule 'A' Central Power Sector PSUs. Candidate should also have handled and be familiar with Training & HRD and Capacity Building initiatives.

3. Age: 59 - 65 years

4. Additional Skills
  • You should have working knowledge of computers
  • You should have good communication skills & a flair for teaching
  • You should be able to give lecture sessions in English and Hindi. Knowledge of other languages is desirable
